Update on "LeelaKnightOdds"

The "LeelaKnightOdds" bot on LiChess has now played over 1500 games, and is gradually getting stronger due to updates in the net, the Contempt settings, and the opening book. The results are really quite amazing. Excluding games with bots, with players using bots, and games lost due to rare disconnections or hang-ups, it hardly ever loses anymore and rarely even draws, especially in blitz. In Rapid it beat an anonymous GM with a 2677 Lichess Blitz rating by 13 to 2 (no draws) at 8' + 3", and also won one game (only 1 played) vs another 2670. I got one win and a couple draws in my last 20 or more games at 10' + 5" or longer. One player with a Lichess Rapid rating of just 2008 has lost 110 straight games without a single draw or win, mostly at 10' + 5"! Of course a 2000 rated player shouldn't be expected to score much with knight odds against the bot, but 110 to 0?? It did lose two games in recent weeks to players in the 2200-2400 range (lichess blitz ratings) playing rapid or near-rapid games, out of some large number, and occasionally allows a repetition draw against a weak player, though this has been much reduced lately. Overall I think its results are roughly consistent with a Lichess Rapid rating of 2800 for Rapid or a Lichess Blitz rating of 2900 for slow blitz (like 5'3"), which roughly equates to 2600 or so FIDE. But it hasn't yet played anyone over 2700 Lichess blitz rating except in bullet (1'1"), where it scores over 99% even against 2500 rated players. So we don't really know what rating it would take to beat it in a serious Rapid match.

Network was recently updated to 816730, Calibration elo to 3700, Contempt to 1000 (with Max Contempt raised to allow for this by using Lc0Pro), and other settings as mentioned in the blog https://lczero.org/blog/2023/11/play-wi ... n-lichess/ except temperature settings both reduced to 1.2 for just five moves. GPU rtx4090 mobile.
