My second test is over and the result shows that the 25.2/25.6 x64 versions seems to have a problem. I run their games two times to get sure. Can't say what it is but the configs was correct, same as all other. The 25.6 general perform not as aspected and only the 25.0/25.3 x64 seems to profit from 64bit. Probably only Bob Hyatt could say whats wrong with the two x64 versions. Running the bench command on this two versions shows higher speeds as 32bit but they can't profit from it in games. Maybe with more cores this change. For the first time I will add 25.3 x64 as strongest Crafty to my Retro list.

25.6 was the last version and of course 'offical' (even if not in the release section, but that's just nitpicking),
because it included the last changes from Bob and the version number change.
There are compilations from Dann Corbitt and Mike Byrne.
Because they (25.6 - 32bit) did not exist before
Also note that I just answered the question about a sheer existence of any 25.6 version.
Crafty has all its downloads and versions scattered over lots of different places.
Alone with this thread I had to add three new links.
This happens when a program has(had) no real website and no version control system in use.
(a rare case, but it also was the first to add any chess protocol at all)
Here's a link to my Crafty collection shared folders>

I can't download this one because Microsoft Defender flags a virus in it. A false warning for sure though.
I'm sorry but crafty_256_64_ja_uci.exe is infected.

It's a false positive due to use of 'Enigma Virtual Box'. Wb2uci is embedded in the executable.
