I want to learn more

Post by Christopher Martin »

Recently, Stockfish scientists discovered dimension 3072. The world is a changing and unstable place. Lc0 engineers are not far behind either. Increasingly fat and gluttonous neural networks spit out deep evaluation. Faced with such an exciting panorama, I applaud. I separate my palms and put them back together, letting out the sound of recognition.

I want to better understand the intricate anatomy of the computing body. I want to know about all the corners that capture the rich nuance of computer chess. From the head, through the best friend, to the little feet. Therefore, I call on all experts, in order to find a comprehensive description of such gear :P :P :P

Probably the most beautiful phrase ever uttered on this website.

Information there is outdated for almost every topic, by varying degree from 5 to 30 years.

If you need to catch up with 30 years of development, that won't be a problem in the forseeable time.

The article about MiniMax is even outdated for ~100 years ;)

Since ~2022 the CPW top contributor is not active anymore, I call him Mr. Book.

The remedy is to allow the public to edit this encyclopaedia - just as we can all edit Wikipedia.
Human chess is partly about tactics and strategy, but mostly about memory

I am not an CPW admin, I can not invite/add users, I suggested to divide topics amongst contributors, obv. no interest.
