When I went on-line this morning it was brought to my attention that TalkChess had gone off line. The VPS control panel indicated that the server was not running, and I pressed the start button to reboot it. This appears to have solved the issue.
It seems that there were some technical problems in the hosting company (Strato), which stopped many of the VPS they had running.

Seems server went down yesterday 20:23:37 Amsterdam time, there are several Strato outage reports in the web:
