Can't really use the forum at present.
Use firefox. It will give a warning but you can ignore it and continue browsing.
As google wants to block adblockers and microsoft edge will follow them it is be the better option anyway.

HGM did install the "let's encrypt" method for SSL/TLS certificate signing on the server, so every 3 months the certificate will be updated, obv. the automated update process now got stuck, and HGM needs to put some hands on.

HGM is on holidays, not sure when he is back, I will PM you some information.
90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.
Sorry about this. I thought I had installed the certificate such that it would be automatically renewed. But apparently not. I was on holliday with only an Android phone. I had no ssh or ftp acces from there to the server, and could not even connect to the forum. (It kept complaining my clock was out of sync.)
I just returned home, and it seems my attempt to renew the certificate succeeded.

Thank you for fixing this and for your general maintenance of this forum.

sometimes nice helpful people only hear the complaints, but I want to praise you for taking action to save the forum
Three cheers for hgm

But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.
