I grew up in the era of the dedicated machines and got to know the Richard Lang and Ed Schroder engines quite well and have always admired their style.
Richard has his Android app and that's great. Ed has released his Mephisto Gideon professional as a .uci engine for PC and it would be great if it could be used with DroidFish or Art Bik's Chess for Android. Would that be possible in any way or is the source code needed?
Like I said, i'm an ignoramus on the subject!
