Let me tell you how my engine got tested.LazySMP wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 7:31 amYou delayed me for more than a month to test my engine, I fixed all the bugs in the engine, but in the end you don't test my engine for unreasonable reasons. I think of the past as destroyed time, and it was really probably the most emotionally destroying time of my life.Graham Banks wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 2:11 am If you want me to test it, I'd like the option of using 256mb hash.
I choose to have faith, because without that, I have nothing… It's the only thing that's keeping me going. I have nothing more to say beyond that It's really unfortunate for those who tried not to test my engine and destroyed my discussion.

I started developing my engine in the end of 2016. I did not contact anybody about that via forum, discord, mail or whatever.
I uploaded my engine to Github in July 2017 just to sync the sources on my three computers that I used for development. I never actively published anything of that via forum, discord, mail.
I tested my engine myself using ~50 different engines that I found at CCRL in the < 2000Elo area. I never actively published anything of that via forum, discord, mail.
Graham contacted me end of 2017 (probably in some chat, maybe at TCEC) and told me that he found my engine and will let it play in his 67th amateur div 9.
A big surprise for me. So I watched my engine playing at Graham's tourneys live and this raised my motivation a lot to improve the engine. So over the years it got stronger and other testers got notice and also tested it.
Graham suggested my engine to the TCEC organizers so it started playing there since 2019.
This is how things can work.
