Re: Testing LazySMP
We received this PM from Daniel.
And so his account is blocked.Hello there,
Unfortunately, I no longer have any interest in continuing in this forum due to the accusations made against me. This was not the first time that this happened, and from the beginning of this thread, some users sent insulting messages. But this time it happened by the moderators. Please lock my thread and don't allow users to post their comments. Also, block me on this forum.
Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Testing LazySMP
There is a solution to this problem that is simply not allowing new usernames unless they pay 100$ for the right to write here.

Re: Testing LazySMP
That would completely kill this already half dead forum. Why would a newcomer pay for the privilege of posting here when they can interact with the best and brightest that have mostly abandoned this place, for free?

They should be paying us to be here tbh.tmokonen wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 6:42 amThat would completely kill this already half dead forum. Why would a newcomer pay for the privilege of posting here when they can interact with the best and brightest that have mostly abandoned this place, for free?

Re: Testing LazySMP
While asking new users to pay is not a solution to any problems, interacting with the best and the brightest (for free or otherwise) is not always pleasant or interesting because some of them can be full of themselves and abusive towards others. Being a great programmer or having had long experience in computer chess is not as much a big deal as some people with these skills seem to think. On the other hand there are still some of the best and brightest who are good to interact with and some not so much on this forum. The members who think that some other forum is much better would leave. Good for them. Some people here think this forum is shit, full of trolls, etc., and they still hang out here for some reason.tmokonen wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 6:42 amThat would completely kill this already half dead forum. I know this is not a popular opinion, but I think a fraction of the community here was a little bit less tolerant towards Daniel. Some of them could have simply ignored his posts.
