Well, it was a hard struggle but Dog 2.6c can be retrieved from its kennel at https://vanheusden.com/chess/Dog/
The "how much is that doggy in the windows" version was a problematic delivery.
2.6 was 13x slower than 2.5c and 2.6b did not use LTO during compilation: 2.6c should have that all fixed now (am now compiling in a virtual machine with windows 10 & msys2 & clang)
