Hello Jouni:

Thanks for the test. Computer chess draw rate is approaching that of computer checkers, as I have said many times before. As a new analogy, scoring wins at top level nowadays (long time controls, fast hardware, top engines, great opening books, EGTB...) is like scoring goals at the Eton wall game:
Wikipedia wrote:[...] Goals (worth ten points) are very rare; they occur about once every couple of years, and no goals have been scored in the St Andrew's Day game since 1911, when future Prime Minister Harold MacMillan scored. [...]
Once in a blue moon.

Regards from Spain.

It is within error margins, but anyway it must be almost impossible to make any significant gains at bullet time control when the engine is already at the level it is, and I wouldn't expect any. I think long time controls with a large number of threads is the focus now.

In SF match draw rate was 98 %! In SF - Obsidian match draw rate was about 84 %. So totally usable book.
