Are there professors (computer Science) around europe that i can reach out to discuss ideas related to chess AI/ML for a potential master thesis under their supervision?

The longstanding go-to is Jaap van den Herik of Maastrict University. https://www.chessprogramming.org/Jaap_van_den_Herik He's retired now though.
