TCEC seems to be down

Anybody knows if it is temporary and when it will be back ?

I'm really fond of following the best engines fight it out there.

Yes, I noticed that too, late last night. And they're still down at 2:38pm Central Time. I only see the 504 code plus Chinese written characters.

I think that if they had a business failure, or financial problems, they'd contact the public to ask for support. But the sudden online failure with no public notification suggests to me that their problem is technical. If so, I'll speculate they have sufficient technical skills to fix it.

I see page. But chat says: "Nightbot: Due to a webserver problem TCEC is temporarily on hold until we solved the problem, we apologize for the inconvenience." Who owns this super-hardware?

Looks like it might have been due to an expired SSL certificate. Unfortunately, looks like they used the wrong domain in the renewed cert (tcec-chess.com.chessdom.com) so the site is still down.

And now it's fully back, just took a while for the DNS info to propagate. Entrance league will resume shortly.

Nope it is not back. The website is still with Chinese letters and unavailable.

Hi Damir,

It was working yesterday, although initially some characters were corrupted. But after refreshing the screen, it was fine.

So after reading your post, I checked now and it's still up and working fine.

Yes it works now. I refreshed the page and it is up and running again.
