Re: Billwall Chess Website
Hmm - I couldn't get to that website...
Here's Bill Wall's current website - https://sites.google.com/view/billwallchessarchive/
He'd posted that he wants a little more privacy (my paraphrase) --- I'll leave it at that.
I made a small app that pulls his old website in a usable way - I'd built this a few months back, but never released it. The post above gave me the push to polish and release it. Check https://github.com/kayvee42/wallchess
Bill's still around and I wanted to be respectful - of both Bill and his copyright. No copyrighted content is distributed by this app. Everything is downloaded at runtime from archive.org. It's a Tauri build - works on Windows, Linux and macOS. I developed on my mac - so let me know if there are issues. The cache will expand as you use it - or you can force a background cache download. I primarily built it to use the extensive game collection - but articles are downloaded as well.

There is no problem accessing the website, if you are using mobile phone. I haven't tried with a computer though. On my OnePlus, I have no problem accessing the website. If you are having problems try and switch your browser. You can choose between Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Tor browser. It can also be that your anti virus, like Windows Defender, or another one you are using, is blocking the website, so you have to disable it.

Thank you for your response, Damir. I'm glad that the site is reachable, and "isituprightnow" confirms the site to be up as well.... https://ibb.co/JwhZ5PfC. But, this is the error I see on my side in case that is relevant.... https://ibb.co/nMzFtQHF
That said, I had wanted to play through the many wonderful collections presented by Bill Wall. I had created the app a few months ago for that purpose, based on the archive.org backups. Feel free to use if you find it similarly useful.
