CCT time

Not again you might say :) sorry
I am at EST time zone, so 7 at UTC+1 is 1 at EST.
Is that the 1am after midnight?? Either I must be wrong
or I should plan ahead and sleep now :)
thanks

1 pm is after noon hence the word afternoon.
1 am is morning. 1 hour past midnight.

I am a little confused with your response but if i read you correct it is indeed after midnight. On cct website,it just says 1 (no am/pm tag) so I originally assumed it is 1pm...

Hi from the EST time zone,

It is indeed 1:00 am.

Myself, I'm gonna try to sleep this evening from 19:00 to 0:00, this should allow me to stay up all night without sleeping through MatMoi's games.

The tournament starts at 1 hour past midnight for you and me. My suggestion is not to sleep now, but to take a long nap between 6pm and 11 pm.

OK, just relooked at the web page. I see why you are confused.
Peter is using US Military time to describe the time without confusion.
You see he states PST as 2300 hours which is 11 pm. For EST he states 0100 hours which is 1 am. The leading 0 and the use of the word hours gives it away.

Actually, I don't think it is military time, I think it is international-except-for-the-US time. Much like temperatures and measurements used everywhere in the world except for the US.

We US citizens use am and pm. Here in the US only the military uses the 0hhh hours method. I suppose it must not be too international. Daniel didn't understand it. He is from Ethiopia.
