Rybka has 3 whites and 2 blacks.
My guess is that she is going to win one of the white games and draw the rest of the games.
I see that my guess was correct.

This is not sport here! It's machines which have no feelings. So it is a test, or experiment.
It's so often been laughed at, how people want to make conclusions from so few games, so I don't think that here should be any different. (well, I know it's over now, but that doesn't affectc what I'm talking about).

IF one wins by 20% or more, then _I_ would say it sets off a flickering light to watch out for the better engine. It might really be better. Of course it's far from conclusive. But only a one-point lead? it could have easily been both ways. (all other things being equal, e.g. opening knowledge, stability, abscence of serious buggs etc.)

It's all about having a bit of fun Stuart, predicting the outcome of the match.
Ray and most others here of course realise that 10 games does not determine which is likely to be the stronger of the two engines.

OK, but it's not a very great fun. It's like a prophetic guess, and you are at the mercy of the machines in being right or wrong. It's an empty speculation, if you are talking about half a point or one point. (being right doesn't indicate being right).
Something more organic/human, OR even horseracing perhaps, OR if your interest is prophecy, OR a difference of more than one point, might be a _bit_ more substance.

You are blaming Ray for not chosing the option Nither?

Intagrand from the Rybka forums predicted a 5.5-4.5 win for Zappa before the match started. I wonder if another person on earth did such a prediction?!
Your beliefs create your reality, so be careful what you wish for.

Actually what I really meant was ranting and raving whilst the match is in progress. It's innanimate.
OK, it's interesting what the next move will be, and even who will win a particular game which is in progress. But not so that the score will end up a little to the right or a little to the left, with 10 games. See that at the end.
