You still havent answered my questions. Why would someone put the string, Ifrit by Chess Terminator in their program? Instead of using their real name? I guess I will leave it to the experts to decide if it is doing something illegal. For now, I wont be wasting my time on that engine. There are already enough engines from Russia and surrounding countries that are worth my time, currently Ifrit doesnt make it to my list. It would have been better to have Chris Conkie here, as would have figured out if it was yet another, Mutha.

Ifrid doesnt like to play my time control. It moves almost instantly and doest search deep enough to find the right moves. It is apparently very weak due to its bad time management.

The source of Ifrit is there. Go look at it. You decide.

Leo does not need to post Mutha on his site.

It's already there under it's real name.

The version we have of that engine is different.

The author also sees no reason to have it posted there twice just for a version change/test version.

If I were a programmer I wouldnt have asked you for help. I will download and look at Mutha to see if I can figure out what engine it is.
