Did anyone actually make a compilation of this ?

Not yet. I could not compile Zach's code correctly. Editing some variables will make a compile on default settings, but editing thread configuration from 1, 3, 4, or 8 will cause a crash. We'll just wait for another edition.

Dann Corbit did, as he mentioned earlier in the thread. I don't know what happened with Denis' build. Dann hasn't said whether my version works correctly for the requested number of CPUs, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hi,

Could one of you experts help me with a configuration setting for Toga II 1.4 Beta 5c? I believe that when I first installed the engine in Arena, the initial setting for the Toga King Safety option box was unchecked. (I guess this means it's turned off.) For best performance, should this setting be left off or turned on? And if it should be turned on, should I just leave the Toga King Safety Margin setting at its default of 1700? I couldn't find any discussions about this either in the engine documentation or in previous forum postings. Thanks!

Yes I don't think the Toga King Safety brings much extra, solution times are getting worse. Thomas did a very good job tuning the defaults. Also the Toga King Safety Margin is effectively a non-option, since Toga II 1.3.4 I believe the code for this option does nothing anymore, at least not in the available Togas. In versions based on Toga II 1.3.1 I believe it still worked but there Toga King Safety is different and I think not good.
