So the only reason you have in buying Naum or maybe any other Chess engine, is to be able to have a score of more than 11-4 in the first 15 games against Rybka 2.3.2a, on the hardware and time controls George uses?

How do you know Naum is not better with some other hardware or with some other time control?

Naum is better than the free Rybka under my conditions by about 110 points.

I am a bit over 99% sure that you are just taking some kind of shot here at me for God only knows why. But just on the ever, ever, ever so slight off chance that you are not- i will repeat this once again- slowly for you.
Naum 3.0_is_IMO_a_great_buy. Can it beat Rybka on most probably any hardware- very doubful. Would i buy it knowing what i know now? MOST DEFINITELY I WOULD. Limit your purchases to the programs that can give Rybka a run for her money- your_shelf_will_be_empty. (Im getting too old for this shit.)

PS: Buy it- don't buy it. I have bigger fish to fry.

How do you know Naum is not better with some other hardware or with some other time control?

Does 'Preserve Hash' mean that Naum keeps the hash from all its games? If so, I predict that after enough games, Naum can learn to beat Rybka
