That's peanuts compared to what I've seen. So yes, even more will be "put up". The question is, when will you "shut up"??
My friend, you are adding a new meaning to "beating a dead horse to death" Christophe has said he is thru with programming, Bob has shot his wad- so that just leaves you. Shame that they would pump you up and then let you be dragged thru the mud like this.

Re: Where is the evidence to be found?
Fine. You seem to have developed into a synonym for hemorrhoid, if you get my drift. And perhaps, just perhaps, one day you will finally realize that the only thing I have tried to "prove" is that the identical-by-chance explanation is nonsense. I can certainly look at what has been presented and draw conclusions. Or I can stick my head where it clearly doesn't belong, as you have, and not look at anything at all...geots wrote:bob wrote:I assume your only goal here is to keep posting so much "nothing" that you try to drown out all the legitimate discussion? If so, in a way you are making some progress, but the discussion probably won't die until a final conclusion is reached, like it or not.
So cluttering up the threads with such nonsense is just cluttering up the thread, but it won't go away as a result.
"Legitimate discussion" ???? Exactly where in the hell would that be. Havent seen it on this forum in 6 days. Andas for a final conclusion, it has been reached, dear heart. You cant prove anything- you wont prove anything- except that you are fairly good at giving people headaches with all your jibber-jabber.

Re: Where is the evidence to be found?
You can say "I am done" all you want. But when you extract your head so that you are seeing something besides large intestines, I am still going to be around. Again "I am done when I _say_ I am done." You have no input in that decision whatsoever. And I have no problems overlooking most of your contentless posts as well, so that is also not going to eventually drive me out of the discussion.geots wrote:Zach Wegner wrote:I don't know why I'm even bothering, but I suppose you didn't see this: http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopi ... 68𳰀

I was thinking more along the lines that I had no more to add than the above drivel, I might consider shutting up for a bit myself...geots wrote:bob wrote:What _is_ the intent here. Furthermore, the evidence presented will have to show that it is what helps Fruit play as well as it does, and this is also what helps Rybka play as well as it does. Otherwise, the evidence really wouldn't be any better than identical UCI protocols.

Quite simply, copying _any part_ of a GPL program is not permissable. _any part_. Not just "key parts".
Whew. I see credibility sprouting wings and flying away. I would be real careful here.

You could tell George to behave. If I said what he has said I'd be banned for the mod term!!!swami wrote:Thanks Terry and Nom for kind words, if possible I will try to write something I could,to try to refute someone's points, especially, in non techincal matters, on either or both side of the arguments.
I was banned for a day without explanation for far far less...and hadn't been warned...had to guess why...and still not certain why. I read the thread...I wasn't upset, no need to cool off...for what??
You tell me...
