Looking at the CCRL list, there is already a considerable advantage of almost 200 points for the older version of LL. Oh well..I guess losing is sort of fun.
I don't think Lemming is that much stronger. ICC and CCRL ratings do not correlate that well. And CCRL tests with no learning and no opening and no ponder, which means the lemming they get is quite a bit weaker than the version ICC just because of settings (as I think turning those features on helps Lemming more than most). I expect you will see more wins and draws as Romi adapts its openings. When you guys gave me a copy last year that is what I saw. In fact, as I look I see you got another win and several more draws. Do not underestimate the power of your learning . I don't think you will start getting a winning record any time soon, but you should be drawing some blood and getting some rating points back I expect.
How many games did we play? Did you keep track of it? Two of the losses were due to disconnnections, in the first one it was an equal position, in the second one, I have no idea. I shall come back later for some sweet payback (or so I hope).
No, I don't keep records...I was hoping you could tell me . I am testing a bizarre new idea, so you will definetly have a chance for revenge, particularly if the idea does not work . Sorry about the noescape clause, it kind of messes with my learning if games get restarted in the middle.
You could find out our record using the pstat command on ICC. I would do it, but I don't remember your user name...it is non-intuitional .
