against the grob, rybka 3.0 prefers a novelty, which can lead to a truely grotesque looking position for black. check it out

1. g4, d5; 2 bg2, nc6 !? (novelty)...

If white playes c4 (quite normal in the grob), and black plays best moves, black can end up witht this position (3 c4, dxc4, 4; g2xc6, bxc6.).

rybka thinks black is doing really well (evaluation < -.50))

I think black has a big advantage, and that 4. Bxc6 is a serious mistake. Black has an extra pawn and the bishop pair, and is ahead in development. White was a very weak kingside, no safe place for the king, and difficulties developing the queenside

I didn't use computer assistance to analyse the position and I do insist that the tripeled pawns are bad for black....
Is there something wrong to second -guess the computers,I mean they are not Gods after all....
My point is that the position is not totaly lost for white as mentioned above,but white must play very pricisely to obtain a draw let alone a win....
I can beat the computers in regular terms regards,

Agreed,but I have a lot of wins against 2400+ engines on a decent hardware at long time controls....I didn't rise yet to To Rybka's level and most probably I won't....
It's a well known fact that I believe that the computers had dominated the chess scene and the human don't stand a chance against them....
For the particular position,it will be extremly hard to obtain even a win against a top rated chess engine,the Bxc6 is a big positional mistake....
Never the less,against a -2000 engine I think that I can hold white's position but i will probably not because when I have time I like to play my own opening lines and get good results....
