after 2 c4 you can face ...e5 so most usual is to play 2 nf3 and then 3. c4

may be are prepared may be not;-) . when they are on the unknown unpleasent territory it is a big probability that they made a mistake.

human chess are differrent that engines one but even engines have their 'styles'

Hi Steve, good suggestion but with Nf3 c5, or Nf3 e6...there will not be any Orangutan opening anymore.

You're correct that the above live favors Black. That's why I recommend that White avoid it by playing 1 Nf3 and then 2 b4. White gets his Orangutan while avoiding giving Black an opening advantage.

Good point! But my point being that with 1 Nf3, White at least avoids an inferior opening.
