I really do not know what you are talking about, it has to be somebody else , since I just finished playing 4 games lost 3 and drew the last one since I received a phone call and could not finished when I had a comfortable position a few minutes ago. Could there be another person who hacked my account, I will call Lichess and find out what is the ip address of the person who played with my account, also yesterday I had to change my email address since it was hacked, the same with my bank account somebody attempted to purchased a Ryzen 9 computer and I called my Bank. Are you the person who did this to me :?: I will have to get Norton 360 to protect all my computers with important email informations and latest purchases with my credit card

LiChess does have 2 Factor Authentication, and has had it for over more than a year now. Are you saying that your LiChess account (Which would mean that Lichess was hacked) was hacked or your Computer was hacked?

I do Not know how it happened, but I was hacked, here are other cases within 9 months

So here's what you're saying happened...(let's pretend it was not to *you* necessarily)

1. A CHESS ENGINE enthusiast starts posting "his" games from an online server and bully-bragging (indirectly bragging by pulling down others so as to create a contrast with yourself) about "how can these guys possibly be 2200?!?!"

2. A master hacker breaks into said CHESS ENGINE enthusiast's account (and computer, I assume, since you implied such when mentioning your getting Norton 360 to deal with it) and instead of stealing money or personal information, uses a CHESS ENGINE to play games, getting banned in the process.

Sounds legit.

No more questions, your honor.

P.S. This is why I stopped playing any time control above 3 minutes online. People like this.

Look at the games using Lichess analysis...in almost every game ChessLearner1979 blunders badly (according to SF 14)
Cheat detection has come a long way from merely checking for engine move matching. And cheats are rarely dumb enough to use an engine for ALL moves nowadays either.

The detection algorithms sites use nowadays are close to 100% accurate and take into account countless variables before giving a final score/result.

Variables could be:

- What was the average time used for accurate moves? (This measures manual relay time between GUI and browser. For example, a cheat will usually use very similar amounts of time to screen switch, update the position and ponder)

- How many of the accurate moves were "only moves"? (as in, any other move results in big centipawn score loss)

- Age of account (banned users usually return with new accounts)

- Difference in rating (Upsets are rare, but happen. This would be weighted low, but still weighted in overall score)

And so on. Tons of data points.

The sum of such a big amount of data is usually a very reliable score. I know chess.com uses a very sophisticated algorithm like this and assume lichess now does too.

Then again, the way this guy talks to people here, he might have just been banned for being rude to opponents.

Who knows? He's likely to stick to his "hacker" story.

Sorry to say that cheat detection at lichess is not even close to 100%. I have two BOTs that run very small nets on lc0 at low number of nodes per move. Humans struggle against them, but a decent engine goes through them like a hot knife through butter.

I used to report cheats every week and get refunded plenty of elo. But that gets tiring. Now I just let it ride, and both BOTs are about 200 elo lower than they used to be. Life’s too short.

(MiniHuman and leela2200 are the BOTs)
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Why I am being accused of being rude I simply went to Lichess and play rapid chess about 14 times, but for the last 6 times I was having hard time connecting, I noticed before I was hacked that even if I gave email address and my password it kept asking me
to verify my password more than 3 times, and every time I gave the same password, it locked me out, then I went to Lichess and saw that somebody was playing under my Learchess 1979 account, and that is when I realized that i was hacked and could
not sign on because my account was being used at the moment.I can not post my bank account here, but I can post the warning from my Bank saying that somebody wanted to use it to purchase a Ryzen 9 computer, I am not sure if I was hacked via a fake link that ask me to verify my information via email and to provide my password for the Lichess account yesterday, but I also had to secure my email with Norton 360 which I purchased today, I was shocked how can someone hack into my account without a password?. I also notice that last time I play Lichess rated me around over 2150 and when I had a hard time connecting back with the same password and could not connect since my account was being used, after I was able to connect back my rating was way over 2300 and I asked myself how can this be possible ? From now on I enable two-factor authentication for my Lichess account: lichess.org/account/twofactor.
