Post by Sylwy »

I'm only interested in chess game quality. Originals, clones, derivatives, free, commercial, private,GPL 1-x,BSD, MIT, MPL, EPL, terrestrial, extraterrestrial................. I really do not care. I see, I'm not posting links. If the results are censored, marginalized and banned (after the CCC itself banned a large part of the world from accessing it) ...... I can retire quietly after 15 years in the new forum and 3 in the old one. Anyway, I have / and I will have practically everything I like about the evolution of computer chess. I like chess. Don't like 2 cents human spirits. Being the last post, don't get tired of the comments!

Fat Titz 1.1 210931 (derivated from Cfish + original HUGE NNUE compiled by Sopel) + Mustafa 13.4 book openings is MUCH stronger than Stockfish 14.1 (watch crosstable and analyse the games if you don't trust me) ...And also BrainLearn 14.2 by A.Manzo and Omar Khalid, SF-PB compiled by Chessman, Swordfish 14.4a and Blue Marlin 14.4. RedFish 180921 and BlueFish NN by Bookmaker are TOP engines (All 30 Top engines excluding Dragon 2.5.1 are on TOP 30! So my opinion is that derivatives really deserve my attention. If you don't test them deeply you cannot judge their strength

Best regards, Alex
So I just tried Fat Titz, and after the 3rd game at the latest, he fell. It was an old computer with no bmi, maybe I used a stupid version, what do I know - SSE42, I can get a Rybka like that, but FT crashed. It's not that much better anyway.
I have played thousands of games with Fat Titz 1.1 and it works perfectly on my unconventional Windows 11 ARM64 virtualized hardware

Please Frans Morsch come back. Without SF derivatives Chessbase is ...<void> Weak, very weak. It doesn't even win against <3300 ELO engines... Thank you free GPLv3 SF derivatives and original engines authors!!!

Fat Titz 1.1 by Sopel (3700+ ELO)

https://github.com/Sopel97/FatTitz/releases/tag/v1.1
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

This is a FREE GPLv3 UCI-compatibile chess engine. It is a fork of Cfish.

This engine uses a HalfKAv2-2048x2-64-64-1 evaluation network, which contains whopping 4 times the knowledge of Stockfish 14. It was trained partially on Lc0 data, which gives it a unique positional style, while still preserving the tactical sharpness of Stockfish. The network was trained using a modification of the state-of-the-art NNUE trainer, utilizing publicly available datasets 1, 2, 3

Due to the large size the release is available only on google drive here. It includes Windows and Linux binaries for all supported architectures, along with the network. This is the only place where the network can be found.

Additional features
Polyglot support
Anarchy mode

setoption name Anarchy value true
makes en-passant forced
64-bit hash key
reduces the amount of hash collisions and allows for more robust long analysis
resizing the transposition table preserves the contents as much as possible
Persistent transposition table

setoption name PersistentTTMinDepth value 4
(min 0, max 255). The minimum entry depth to store/load.

setoption name PersistentTTFileName value filename.ptt
. The file which contains the persisted TT. Doesn't do anything on itself.

setoption name PersistentTTSerialize
. Serializes the current transposition table according to the options above. The file is overwritten.

setoption name PersistentTTDeserialize
. Deserializes the current transposition table according to the options above. Only worse entries are replaced.
Fat Titz 211216 by Sopel just compiled by Chessman!!! Many thanks to both, my genial friends

VERY APPRECIATED CHRISTMAS GIFT, AND SEEMS VERY STRONG AS USUAL!

Rebel 14 Fruit 2.1 derivative by Ed Shroeder - Netherland, 3000 ELO

https://rebel13.nl/windows/rebel-14.html

from Ed site:
Rebel 14 consists of 4 parts,

1. The famous Fruit 2.1 engine from 2004 by Fabien Letouzey, elo ~2700

2. Growing Fruit by Pawel Koziol improving the Fruit search, elo ~2800 making it about equal in strength with ProDeo 3.1

3. Replacing the Fruit evaluation with Benjamin 1.1 NNUE evaluation.

4. NNUE code to excecute the Benjamin NN evaluation by Chris Whittington.
Very appreciated return by a 1990 chess engines myth! The first version isn't very strong, but let him to return in the 3000 ELO range.
Fruit isn't multiprocessor so Thorsten Czub suggested him to switch as base to Senpai (that's is Fruit MP). And why not isn't restarting directly from latest Stockfish dev? It isn't the devil!

A lot of members are criticizing him (and it's strange that some boring purists about INTEGRITY and DIVERSITY aren''t annoying him too with moron accusations as they are doing with all other not original developers  )

All GPLv3 are perfectly allowed also by Stockfish Team and I like very much 3500+ ELO Corchess, Shashchess, BrainLearn, SugaR, Crystal, Keyra and Fat Titz.

128 Rebel 14 games https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=B0F79706 ... 27&o=OneUp

Rebel 14.1 Fruit 2.1 derivative by Ed Shroeder - Netherland, 3000+ ELO released

http://rebel13.nl/windows/rebel-14.html

from Ed site:

Changes

1. New and bigger neural network made from 1.2 billion position analyzed with Benjamin 1.1, estimated elo gain ~60.

2. Search changes, estimated elo gain ~40-50.

3. NNUE tuner parameter in Engine Settings. Changing the default of 100% to 125 will make Rebel even more aggressive, 150 up to the point of reckless, values lower than 100 will change the playing style to be more moderate. We tested the value 75 and it gave an extra 10 elo but it was preferred to leave the value at 100 exactly what the learner had created to keep the original Benjamin 1.1 playing style.
