I decided to continue with my experiment that I said I was going to hold the same Tournament match but only with the first 6 engines which are on top listed here, I restricted the LowDraw1000.cgb book to 4 moves depth for Stockfish, Berserk and Rubichess, whereas, the other engines opening Book are restricted deeper to a 8 moves Depth. Your Prediction was correct Graham.

Try a book that allows 12 moves depth, and I doubt you'll see much difference either.

What I honestly believe is that Stockfish, Torch, and Dragon 3.2, can beat any other engines with a book of only 4 moves depth no matter if it is 12 moves or 18 moves deep, because the quality of moves created by those top 3 engines will be as good as any Opening Book created so far, as long as they have at least 12 seconds to think on every moveGraham Banks wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:03 am Try a book that allows 12 moves depth, and I doubt you'll see much difference either.![]()
