There is no exe included in the package. I have asked the author to provide one. Until then, if you are interested, I have put an exe, compiled by me, at this place: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O0WCWB ... share_link

Note that it is a compile for Haswell/BMI2 machines.
AGAIN stupid Microsoft Defender with a Wacatac false alarm. It's getting really annoying.
That's odd. It didn't happen to me either with Pingu or Shuffle.

I've re-scanned both, and they seem OK now. I am not sure why Defender complained before.

To keep with the theme of this thread, z5 2.0 has been released:

As well as Shuffle 1.2.1:

Caligula 1.1 and DanaSah 9.1

Post by pedrox »

I have updated Caligula and DanaSah.

Caligula 1.1: version 1.0b presents a problem when playing with a opening book in Polyglot format, due to an bug in the information stored in the hash tables when playing with a opening book can cause an illegal move, this problem has not been detected by the Elo lists since these lists do not use the engine's own book. On the other hand this is the first version to have Linux versions. There are no further changes in the engine, so the Elo will be the same, maybe 10 points more for a better executable.

DanaSah 9.1:a new version of the neural network has been created based on the previous one, with more positions at the same depth. The Elo gain was not as expected, maybe 15-20 Elo points at most and this also possibly with a better executable. Fixed a bug in the evaluation when not using NNUE, in the starting position it gave a value like +1.5 instead of a value close to 0. There are versions for Linux and also a link to the previous version (9.0) fully functional for Android compiled by Archimedeschess.
