will go from house to house checking computers for installed AI software,
a good idea, replace all Win11 installs (with apparently a lot of AI spyware(*) ) with Linux Mint
(and a working Wine install) the latter (wine) not always so easy yet
(*) i presume there will be (more) opt out methods coming though
You can't put the genie back in the bottle, even it he is an evil genie.
Sometimes he grants good wishes.
Sometimes he grants bad wishes.
But for me, he is a calm and helpful servant. And yes, I am that evil owner who will not use the final wish to grant him freedom.
I'll shine the lamp whenever I darn well please.

But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

Note, first please a reference where Kamsky literally said such a thing (couldn't find anything);
while he may have been sometimes negative about chess engines, the capitalized quote may not be real.

I am against 'COMPANIES should be banned' and such nonsense, of course. One thing is regulate certain things to avoid abuses (OK) and other is a total ban of everything. 'People pollutes when breathing, let us kill everybody' (like in James Bond film Moonraker of 1979). I always think on the following meme when I read or hear such thoughts:
I wish I were a horseshoe crab and do not need to worry about those things!
