Cray Blitz 49h available (working!)

Thanks a lot for the marvelous gift from the past. I followed the instructions to generate its own book. Loaded in Arena 3.5.1 and when I play against Cray Blitz, it uses its own book. In tournament mode, it plays bookless. Anybody knows why and how to correct for the missing book in automatic tournaments?

Run engine in uci mode. In the data folder edit the wb2uci.eng file (add ownbook entry) >

I corrected that input into the ini file, but I must do something wrong, it still does not use a book.

Maybe you are using an old version. Download latest version here and edit the wb2uci.eng file >

This is the version I am using.
I install CrayBlitz_49h_uci from data folder into Arena 3.0
I have executed the bat file just before to set the time per move
I have edited the wb2uci.eng file as per your instructions
When I edit the ArenaENG.cfg file I have those lines:

You're installing wrong engine executable. you install 'CrayBlitz_49h_uci.exe' file which is in main folder not data folder.

with the exe from the previous folder, the engine is calculating but still without any book. I have unchecked all book options from Arena's book menu. Any other idea?

It works for me. Maybe you are not using original folder structure (it has to be like this) >

Jim, I would like to thank you for your help. I finally succeeded to get CrayBlitz to play with its book. I had several issues. The first one is that my Arena install was flawed. Then, in Arena, if you change the level in a tournament to something else than All moves in xx minutes, Cray Blitz will play without its book! Without your help, I would not have figured all this.
