Apple benchmarks were 100% always useless for chess, no exceptions yet to be presented.

@Magnum:

Write to Apple to consider donating some machines to Lc0 and Stockfish devs, people need hands on to optimize stuff.

1. Who cares about useless Geekbench? It has been proven worthless for comparing different architectures.
2. Who cares about single-core CPU performance? Why pay for 10 cores or more if you only intend to use one?
3. Stockfish can use AMX (it's just a compile option). The usefulness of AMX is another issue.
4. Apple generally underperforms and overprices its products. It's a platform more for posers than gamers or chess enthusiasts.

A lot of nonsense.

Example:
3. No Stockfish can't.
Sopel (Stockfish developer): no because it's a pessimisation

You're mixing things up it seems (common in Apple lala-land :-) ... Do you even know what AMX is? Have you yourself tried it on the Intel Sapphire Rapids? Why dont you just try it yourself on your overpriced Mac "clang -std=c11 -O3 -famx -o .... ...." ?
